Now Accepting Applications for the 2017 Salem Open Market
The Salem Open Market at Haunted Happenings is a juried arts market that will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the last three weeks in October. The market sets up in the heart of Salem’s pedestrian zone along Essex Street and Derby Square. Hours and pricing vary depending on the location, see below.
Please contact for space at the Salem Food Truck Festival, September 30th and October 1st.
All vendors are reviewed for acceptance by New England Open Markets. It is our goal to have a wide variety of products by artists and makers. We are looking for products in keeping with the spirit of Haunted Happenings, however items do not need to have a Halloween theme. Products should appeal to the eclectic customer base visiting Salem during the month of October. Considerations include: quality, innovation and uniqueness of the wares; overall cohesiveness and consistency of your work; how your items are represented in your photos; and the need to diversify craft categories presented. We accept all types of art and handmade crafts. The application and agreement that each artist/maker signs forbids the sale of manufactured and resale items.
Applications will be open on our website February 7, 2017 and will remain open until all available spaces have been filled. In addition to our online form, the photos are required. Two of your product, and one of your display.
