Vendor Selection

Indie Art by the Sea is open to makers, artists, designers, vintage dealers, specialty food vendors, and food trucks. All goods must be handmade, handcrafted, thoughtfully designed, or carefully curated vintage. Factory-made and resale items are not permitted.

Vendor Selection Policy

Indie Art by the Sea is a curated market dedicated to celebrating New England's most talented independent artists, makers, designers, and vintage dealers. Our markets are built around creativity, craftsmanship, and community — spotlighting work that is thoughtfully designed, handmade, or thoughtfully sourced right here in New England.

We do not accept mass-produced items, imports, newly manufactured goods represented as vintage, non-repurposed modern resale, or businesses that outsource both design and production. Makers and artists must be directly involved in the creation of their work, and vintage dealers must offer genuine vintage with a clear, cohesive point of view.

Specialty food vendors and food trucks should offer high-quality, locally made food and drink. Accepted food vendors will receive permitting requirements and next steps in their acceptance email.

Our mission is simple: to create meaningful opportunities for independent artisans and vintage curators to connect with customers who value authenticity, quality, and supporting local.

Tax ID Certificates Required

Tax ID Numbers are required in Massachusetts. All exhibitors must be in compliance with State & Federal Tax Laws and display a Tax ID Certificate in their booth. If you don't have one, you can register online for free here.
